More vigilance worldwide
American authorities have noticed an increase of product recalls for the last two years. The European Commission also noticed that the number of consumer goods removed from the EU market has increased. Through RAPEX, the Rapid Alert System for non-food consumer products, national authorities notify the Commission of products presenting a serious risk for the health and safety of consumers. Dangerous products are then banned or their sale is restricted on the market.
